Jaya Arya graduated with a Ph.D. in bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016, where she worked with Dr. Mark Prausnitz for her research on formulation and clinical translation of microneedles for vaccination in developing countries. Before moving to Atlanta, Jaya got her undergraduate degree in pharmaceutical technology at Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai. Jaya now works as a management consultant with Bain & Co. in their Atlanta office. Outside of work Jaya enjoys running outdoors, playing board games and cooking Indian food.
The Journal of Controlled Release Outstanding Paper Committee will make the selection of the awardee.
