Join a Chapter: Inside the U.S.A., the opportunity exists to join a current Student Chapter or establish a Student Chapter. Outside the U.S.A., join an existing Chapter or submit your request to establish a new Chapter. China Initiative Subcommittee: Committee is exploring ways to increase China's involvement and contributions to CRS. Consumer and Diversified Products Committee (C&DP): The C&DP mission is to advance science, technology, and education in the field of controlled release or delivery of non-pharmaceutical active ingredients. To meet this mission, the C&DP Committee is comprised of an international team of individuals that cover a full range of C&DP interests. If your area of interest falls into one of these C&DP areas, consider joining this committee on monthly conference calls to plan annual meeting activities and spread the news of C&DP within CRS and to other societies Educational Workshop/Satellite Meeting Review Committee: Committee reviews educational workshop and satellite meeting applications and makes recommendations on the same Marketing Committee: Committee promotes CRS activities within CRS and creates opportunities to reach those new to CRS. Meetings Committee: Committee reviews abstracts and selects session chairs for the annual meeting Membership & Development Committee: Committee is involved in increasing member benefits and volunteer opportunities, retaining members, and reaching new members. Planning & Finance Committee: Committee is involved with the planning of the CRS financial future and the yearly budgeting of the Society. Veterinary Committee: Committee organizes events at the CRS meetings including the veterinary track scientific sessions, mini symposia, Pearls of Wisdom, Vet Get Together, educational workshops and satellite meetings and reaches out to other veterinary/animal health related societies. Webcast Committee: Committee solicits webcast presenters and reviews presentations before they go live. Website Committee: Committee is involved in the current and future design of the CRS website. Young Scientist Committee: Committee is involved to creating activities and programs for CRS young scientists who are students, people under 40, or new to a controlled release and delivery area within the past five years. Young Scientist Mentorship/Protege Subcommittee: Subcommittee is involved in signing on mentors and protégés, pairing mentors and protégés, and encouraging mentors and protégés to ensure the program is a success for all involved.
