Amrita Mehta is a Sr. Research Associate working in the Novel Delivery Technology group at Pfizer, Andover, MA. At Pfizer, Amrita supports various projects for the formulation of biotherapeutics and the evaluation of advanced drug delivery technologies. Prior to this position, Amrita worked as an in vitro Toxicologist at Vertex, Cambridge, MA where she conducted various in vitro cell based assays for pre clinical toxicological prediction of small molecules.
Amrita has experience working with small molecule pre-clinical formulation, cell culture and various analytical methods through her internship at Novartis, Cambridge, MA. Amrita obtained her MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, Boston. She had previously contributed to the development of the YS committee in the year 2010. She is excited to re-join the group and looks forward to working with the team in making significant contribution to achieving the goals of the YS committee.
