CRS Distinguished Service Award

The CRS 2007 Board of Directors selected as the 2007 Distinguished Service Awardee.

Michael Rathbone studied pharmacy at Leicester Polytechnic, UK, received his doctorate from the University of Aston, Birmingham and is currently General Manager and Director of Research at InterAg, NZ. Dr. Rathbone has contributed widely to the CRS and has been a member of the Board of Governors, Board of Scientific Advisors, Chairman of the Veterinary Products Focus Group, Chairman of the Education Committee, an ad hoc member of the Board of Directors and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Controlled Release. Dr. Rathbone has co-edited several books on controlled release science and technology including Oral Mucosal Drug Delivery, Controlled Release Veterinary Drug Delivery and Modified Release Drug Delivery Technology.
