Student Travel Grant Lottery

Make a difference in a student's life and contribute today to the CRS Student Travel Grant Lottery Fund. Ensure the scientific future of the delivery of bioactives and CRS; donate today! Travel Grants are made available to graduate students and post-docs to help defray the expense of attending the Annual Meeting and Exposition in New York City July 12-16, 2008. To be eligible, a student must be a student member of CRS, be the presenting author at the CRS Annual Meeting and Exposition, and register for the Annual Meeting and Exposition no later than May 15. As a student member of CRS if you are interested in being considered for the student travel grant, you must be sure to check the appropriate box when you submit your abstract online. If your abstract is approved and you are selected to be in the student travel grant lottery drawing, you will be notified by May 31, if you won and what the cash dollar amount of the travel grant will be that you will receive at the Annual Meeting and Exposition.

CRITERIA

  • Be a current graduate student or post-doctoral researcher
  • Be the underscored, presenting author as listed on the abstract
  • Check off required grant box and verify student status on abstract submission form online
  • Register and pay for the Annual Meeting no later than May 15, 2008
  • Individual must be a member of the Controlled Release Society

SELECTION PROCESS
Names will be selected by lottery after May 15, 2008, and all grant winners will be notified by May 31, 2008.

AWARD
Cash awards will be distributed at the Attendee Services Desk at the 35th Annual Meeting and Exposition in New York City, July 12-16, 2008.
