- Ground-breaking research of outstanding quality
- The presenting author must be a member of CRS

The Outstanding Pharmaceutical Paper Award Committee will make the selection of the award.

CRS - 2010 Outstanding Pharmaceutical Paper Award
Oleh Taratula is a post-doctoral associate in Prof. Tamara Minko’s laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Ivan Franko National University, Lviv, Ukraine, and Rutgers University, respectively. His research focuses on the application of nanotechnology for the development of multifunctional drug delivery systems. Dr. Taratula has published 17 papers, 1 book chapter, and over 30 abstracts and has received 8 prestigious scientific awards. He serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. Recently, Dr. Taratula received as a principal investigator a research grant from the U.S. Department of Defense.
