Oral Multi-particulate Drug Delivery Systems: Challenges and Opportunities

Generously co-sponsored by Colorcon, Inc., and Evonik Industries
& Media Sponsor
Drug Discovery Today

Chairs: Ali Rajabi-Siahboomi, Colorcon, Inc.,U.S.A.; and Brigitte Skalsky, Evonik Roehm GmbH, Germany

Educational Goals for the Satellite Meeting:

  • Background into suitability of MP systems for oral
  • MP options available: core design and formulation, polymers, technologies
  • What is new on the formulation and design of MP
  • Practical aspects of manufacturing and scale up for MP systems
  • Up to date information on QbD and PAT aspects for MP systems
  • Potential mathematical prediction of formulation and description of drug release
  • Regulatory preferences and guidelines on MP systems as compared to monoliths

This will be an excellent opportunity for those new to the use of multi-particulates, as well as those who are familiar and experienced in this area. Attendees will be able to apply their learning from this satellite meeting to their daily work, in API selection and a suitable technology to achieve desired release profiles.

Advance registration is now closed. Onsite registration will be available at the Hilton Vienna Danube March 24 and March 25.

All meetings will be held at the:
