Abstract Format

Abstract information must not appear on or outside the margins. Indent five (5) spaces for the beginning of paragraphs.

Abstracts must be RTF document formatted to 8.5" x 11" (21.59cm x 27.94cm) with the following margin settings:

Type should be 10-12 points. Only the fonts listed below are approved for use: Arial, Helvetica, Symbol, Times, Wingdings

Abstracts must be at least one full page but no more than two full pages.

File Documents must be in Rich Text Format (RTF). The abstract template which you can download is in RTF. If you create your abstract using the template, it will already be an RTF file. To create an RTF file from another format, use the “save as” feature of your word processor and save the document as an RTF file.
