Opening Reception at the Long Beach Convention Center

The welcome reception will be held in the Poster/Exhibit Hall A of the Long Beach Convention Center. This reception is included in the registration for CRS Annual Meeting & Exposition attendees.

Join in the fun with the CRS Veterinary members to hear guest speaker Terry Bowersock of Pfizer Animal Health at the Vet Get Together. Dr. Bowersock's lively presentation, Building a Pyramid of Bioactive Delivery in Veterinary Medicine - Facing the Challenges of Drug Delivery, will generate much discussion. For all of those in the veterinary field, be sure to attend this important networking opportunity.

Lunch with the Experts

At these special gatherings, CRS will provide opportunities for students to meet informally with experts from around the world who will facilitate discussions that allow participants to present their questions and gain new perspectives. Please note that the Lunch with the Experts sessions are restricted to students who are registered attendees. No media will be admitted. Students will be able to sign up at the registration counter in the Long Beach Convention Center and space is on a first-come basis. Each room assignment will be displayed at the registration desk. The Experts on Monday, July 9 are William Pardridge, University of California, Los Angeles, U.S.A.; and Vladimir Torchilin, Northeastern University, U.S.A. On Tuesday, July 10, the Experts will be Muthiah Manoharan, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, U.S.A.; and Jennifer West, Rice University, U.S.A.

Closing Reception/Banquet

Tuesday, July 10
You’ll want to join your colleagues for this festive evening at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Enjoy your favorite beverage as you view the more than 12,000 ocean animals on display in exhibits ranging in size from 5,000 to 350,000 gallons! After the reception, a banquet dinner will be served followed by award presentations. Seating is limited, so register early!
