Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the 34th Annual Meeting & Exposition of the Controlled Release Society, 7-11 July 2007, being held at the Long Beach Convention Center in relaxing Long Beach, California.

The 2007 Controlled Release Society Annual Meeting programme is sure to have something for everyone and includes a new U.S. record 855-plus abstracts from industry, academia, and government all presenting the latest trends and research. The Programme Chairs have planned 5 plenary sessions, 5 mini-symposia, and 30 scientific sessions. These are complemented by the Young Scientists Workshop, Soapbox Sessions, Releasing Technologies Workshops, Pearls of Wisdom Sessions, and the two-day Industrial Session.

Networking, learning, building relationships, and hearing first-hand the latest science and research related to controlled release are just some of the reasons to attend the meeting. In addition, there will be ample time to connect with colleagues and clients while enjoying the exposition and warm breezes of Long Beach.

The goal of the 34th Annual Meeting & Exposition of the Controlled Release Society is to deliver knowledge and service by advancing science, technology, and education in the field of controlled-delivery of bioactive substances. The Controlled Release Society is a recognized leader in disseminating the science and applied technical knowledge, and the 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition is sure to communicate “The Place to Be for Industry News, Research, and Connections.”

I urge you to block out 7-11 July 2007, in your diaries and come to Long Beach for what promises to be an outstanding meeting.
