CRS Soapbox Sessions

Soapbox Sessions are opportunities for individuals or companies to present new ideas, products, and services to CRS Annual Meeting & Exposition attendees. These presentations are very well attended and will be held in the exhibit hall. How you can be involved with Soapbox:

  • Share your ideas and innovations with potential investors/partners as a presenter
  • Explore the latest advancements and innovations as an attendee
  • Make connections for future partnerships

Who Attends?

Big Pharma, biotechs, product formulators, licensing officers, venture capitalists, technology transfer offices, universitiesin essence, anyone and everyone who has an interest in exploring the latest innovations.

Who Presents?

Entrepreneurial start-ups, industrial and academic, commercial and not yet commercial young companies, university spin-offs, exhibitors, and anyone with a great, new idea.

How Does it Work?

Multiple sessions are planned during exhibit hours on Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18. Each session is made up of 5-10 minute presentations, there will be multiple sessions throughout the two days. A schedule will be available in early July.

Selection Criteria

Demand for the Soapbox Sessions is high, therefore applications with the best likelihood of acceptance will best meet the selection criteria. Priority will be given to:

  • New and innovative technologies and tools
  • Subjects highly correlated with the focus of the meeting
  • Early-stage companies
  • Under-funded companies
  • First time, CRS-attending companies


 *Soapbox presenters are required to register as attendees for the CRS Annual Meeting.
