Computation in Drug Delivery Focus Group brings together researchers from academia and industry to advance the use of computational methods, modeling, and machine learning in drug delivery research.
For 2026–2027, the group will focus on scientific exchange, member engagement, and knowledge sharing through webinars, quarterly CRS newsletter articles, and interviews with academic and industry experts. The group’s planned activities will highlight emerging applications of computational approaches across areas including oral drug delivery, nucleic acid therapeutics, long-acting injectables, and microfluidic systems.
As membership grows, the Focus Group aims to expand its scientific programming and foster new opportunities for collaboration across the CRS community.
The members of the Focus Group are expected to be paid members of the Controlled Release Society independent of their membership category.
