The Emeritus Membership is applicable to those members who have fifteen (15) or more years of membership in the Society if they are: (1) of age to collect Social Security retirement benefits (65 years or older); (2) fully retired from active practice, management, research, or full-time teaching.

Emeritus status will be effective upon receipt of this fully completed application and approval from the CRS Board of Directors. Members granted Emeritus status are eligible for a discounted membership fee of $59.00 and are entitled to all membership privileges. Emeritus members will also be recognized on the CRS website. Upon approval of an emeritus membership, the member will receive an invoice for their discounted member fee.

To be considered, you must:

  1. Complete this application in full
  2. Attach a copy of your professional resume/CV to this form
  3. Attach a letter of request to the Board of Directors to this form
Termination of Membership. The Board of Directors may recommend that any member be expelled from the Society for conduct contrary to the objectives of the Society based on the recommendation of an Appeals Committee, which will provide an opportunity for the member to defend him/herself. The Board shall vote on the question of whether the member shall be expelled. A two-thirds affirmative vote shall be necessary to expel a member. Any member who resigns or is expelled shall remain liable for any charges due at the time of the resignation or expulsion.
