Global Member Engagement Committee

The Controlled Release Society (CRS) is a global organization. Global Member Engagement is at the heart of CRS. The collective expertise, views, and experiences of the CRS community help drive scientific discovery and technical innovation for the betterment of all members and the society.

The privilege of membership in CRS requires that each member conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism, respect, and ethics at all times. CRS acknowledges and appreciates the unique contributions of each of its member in their pursuit of cutting-edge research, professional development, and relationship-building across the globe. As this community grows and thrives, CRS will continue to listen to its members and seek out opportunities to improve policies, practices, and communication in support of its core values and mission.

If you have any suggestions or comments that will improve the CRS community, please leave us a message through this anonymized form.

Global Member Engagement Leadership Training

Each year, all CRS leaders are required to attend a training held by the Global Member Engagement Committee to ensure that all areas of CRS continue to grow and foster the values of inclusion, diversity, and global access.

Call for Volunteers!

In 2020, CRS created the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Taskforce to address the growing need in our community for diversification and inclusion. This Taskforce has evolved over time into the CRS Global Member Engagement Committee (GMEC) and has broadened the scope and impact of the work to resonate more globally. A lot has already been achieved, but we have much more to do and cannot do it without you, our community. The GMEC is welcoming new volunteers to participate in this crucial conversation and aid CRS in this initiative. If you have helpful insight to offer, and are interested in getting involved in the Committee, please complete the following form expressing your interest. (Be sure to specify that you are interested in serving on the GMEC, when completing the form).
