Profile: Ivana Stolfa

Ivana Stolfa obtained her master’s degree in Pharmacy in 2017 from University of Bari (Italy) after a master thesis project at the University of Paris-Saclay (France).

She is now a PhD student at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science at King’s College London. Her PhD is part of the LIDo (London Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme)- the largest BBSRC funded Doctoral Training Partnership in the UK - and her project is an industrial collaboration with Vectura LTD, a company leader in the inhalation field.

She works in the field of drug delivery to the lungs and her research is focused on the development and testing of a drug-loaded human serum albumin nanoparticles formulation for the delivery to the lungs.

Besides research, she loves exploring London, trying different types of cuisine and pottery.
