Sybil Obuobi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual fellow at the Faculty of Pharmacy (Drug Transport and Delivery Research Group), UIT The Arctic University of Norway. She completed her PhD in 2018 at the National University of Singapore (NUS, Singapore) and received the best postgraduate researcher and project awards in 2017. She was also awarded an Otto Bayer Fellowship in 2017 to join the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research (MPIP, Germany) as a graduate researcher for 3 months. As a young independent researcher, her expertise is in the development of advanced antimicrobial delivery systems based on DNA and lipid hybrids for the treatment of recalcitrant infections. Outside the lab, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and watching animations.
