Vishnu Rompicharla is a pharmaceutical scientist currently training as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Nanomedicine, Department of Ophthalmology, Johns Hopkins Medicine. He received his PhD in Cancer Nanotechnology from BITS-Pilani, India (2019). In his brief industrial stint of 3+ years, he has gained diverse experience in formulation development, regulatory affairs, and intellectual property rights. His research interests include novel drug delivery systems, targeted therapies, and material characterization. Vishnu aspires to develop and translate nanomedicine-based technologies from lab to clinic and work towards improving medicine access to the less privileged. Outside the lab, he likes to play badminton, and travel.
