Ala’ Salem obtained her master’s in Pharmaceutical and
Biopharmaceutical formulations from the University of Sunderland and
her Pharm. D bachelor's degree from the Jordan University of Science
and Technology. She is completing her Ph.D. at the Institute of
Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at the University of
Pécs. Her research focuses on the development of nano-sized
multi-drug co-crystals for Tuberculosis. Ala' is also involved in the
formulation of liposomal intra-nasal drug delivery. She aspires to
lead a formulation research and development lab and create drug
formulations for science fiction movies. As a long-distance runner,
she tries to spot wild foxes while training for marathons.
