Ana Melero studied Pharmacy and obtained a European PhD-Degree at the University of Valencia (Spain) and the Saarland University (Germany) under de supervision of Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr and Prof. Teresa Garrigues. In 2010, she was awarded with the Euro-PhD certificate of the Galeno’s Network. After 3 years postdoc at the Saarland University, she joined her Alma Mater in 2012 as an Ass. Prof. (Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs), having promoted in July 2018. Her research interests are focused in the design and development of drug delivery systems for modulation of skin and intestinal absorption of APIs. In her free time, she likes travelling, reading, going to music festivals and enjoying life with her family.
