I obtained my PhD in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017 at the University of Pavia (Italy) developing versatile nanoplatforms to deliver drugs for paediatric patients. During my PhD, I joined the research group of Prof Yvonne Perrie at Aston University (Birmingham- UK) working on the microfluidic technology for lipid- and polymer- based nanoparticles preparation. I carried out my postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Prof Ida Genta at the University of Pavia where I worked on the programmable assembly of polysaccharide nanoparticles in a microfluidic platform to achieve smart drug delivery systems. Since September 2020, I am a Postdoc research fellow at the Dept. of Civil Engineering and Architecture in collaboration with the Dept. of Drug Sciences (University of Pavia). My current research is focused on the design and development of a microfluidic platform for pharmaceutical application.
