Seyedeh Hoda Alavizadeh

haSeyedeh Hoda Alavizadeh is an Assistant Professor at Pharmacy School, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She received her Pharm. D and PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Her research addresses applying novel delivery systems including smart nanomaterials for cancer therapy and diagnosis, cancer chemo immunotherapy and vaccine development for infectious diseases. Some of her work has been recognized with research awards in the national and international meetings. She served as the scientific vice-chair of the virtual international conference on nanoscience and nanotechnology (ICNN2021) at Mashhad University of Medical School, Iran. The networking during this meeting motivated her to become a CRS member in 2021. Currently she serves as the Vice Dean of Postgraduate and Complementary Education Affairs at Pharmacy School, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. She is a committed and detailed oriented scientist and she has the spirit of team working. She believes in moving forward to become better every day and to bring the scientific projects to the people’s life. Her vision as a woman in science is to balance her desire to excel in both work and non-work roles. Beside professional responsibilities, she enjoys reading books on life coaching, swimming and hiking in the mountains and she loves doing charity-work for less-fortunate students. She is excited to join the Young Scientist Committee of the Controlled Release Society as YSC Ambassador.
